This week I'm looking at venues. For the longest time, when I imagined what it would be like when I got married, I immediately thought of the backyard of the house I used to live in back in high school. It was a gorgeous, plantation style house with a wrap-around porch and a humongous back yard. That was really all I wanted, but then my parents moved... Now since becoming engaged, I'm thinking a little differently. I live out in the country, and what says country better than a barn?
I love these inspirational barnyard weddings. They are so unique and beautiful and I'm really falling head over heels for them. There's something about the rustic feel of the exposed wood beams and the twinkling lights that seems magical, and who doesn't want their wedding day to seem magical, am I right? I especially love the recycled glass bottle and wild flower centerpieces. They are so sweet, simple and utterly perfect.
Now, when I think of what my wedding is going to be like, I'm envisioning something a lot like this. Aren't they beautiful?
P.S - I am absolutely swooning over this venue in Southern New Hampshire. It's like all of my dreams have come true.
